Wedit: How did you get your start in the Event Planning Industry?

Melissa: I have always loved planning events, even as a little girl. I started my own business 9 years ago and I have loved it!

Wedit:What is your favorite part of the industry?

Melissa: I love seeing people happy. Weddings are one of the happiest days of people’s lives and I get to be a part of that.

Wedit: What are your favorite wedding trends this year?

Melissa: Anything hanging from the ceiling! Greenery, flowers, lighting, anything!

Wedit: What is the biggest change you have seen since the start of your career?

Melissa: There are no more cookie cutter weddings. Couples want their wedding to be different and reflect them as a couple.

Wedit: What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

Melissa: Do what you love!
