She went from corporate event planning to planning weddings and has learned a lot during her years in the business.

How did you get your start in the Event Planning Industry?

Ellie: Began with corporate event planning.

What is your favorite part of the industry?

Ellie: Love working with the couples on their wedding day; it means so much to them and to be a part of the day with all the love in the room makes me so happy.

What are your favorite wedding trends this year?

Ellie: Love the minimalistic approach with clean lines, glass and large philo leaves; love the moody vibes as well – smokey, darker colors used in fall; love the swing toward balloon garland around dessert tables, as archways for the reception, etc.

What is the biggest change you have seen since the start of your career?

Ellie: People going from rustic weddings with lanterns and wood heavy to more modern, clean and glass

What is the best piece of advice you have ever recieved?

Ellie: Don’t ever let the door close with any connection you make & don’t ever burn a bridge.
