This week we interviewed Wedding Planner Dionne Waugh of Bridal Dreams Jamaica.

Wedit: How did you get your start in the Event Planning Industry?
Dionne: I planned my first event at 18 years old! Then I planned my own wedding in 2009. I have been planning events ever since.

Wedit: What is your favorite part of the industry?
Dionne: Planning a complete experience for clients to celebrate and have fun.

Wedit: What are your favorite wedding trends this year?
Dionne: I am still in love with unique shaped ceremony arches and I am still loving greenery and the rustic theme.

Wedit: What is the biggest change you have seen since the start of your career?
Dionne: I have become more focused on experiential planning as opposed just executing an event

Wedit: What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Dionne: Always under promise and over deliver.
