How did you get your start in the Event Planning Industry?

Cemone: I worked for a company that planned destinations weddings, when I was no longer with them I decided to start my own company because. I really enjoyed working as a planner and thought that I should continue even though I was no longer with the company – I took my last few dollars and started Out of Box Weddings

What is your favorite part of the industry?

Cemone: I enjoy the creative side, coming up with new ideas and seeing it all come to life.

What are your favorite wedding trends this year?

Cemone: Combination of colors and texture – not everything has to be matching

What is the biggest change you have seen since the start of your career?

Cemone: The change has been in myself, I’m always in the learning mode, I never think I know it all and even though it’s been six years I still feel like a rookie.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever recieved?

Cemone: Know the rules and do the work.
