Spotlight Friday with Amber Frawley and Kristine Adams of Pineapple Punch Events

This week for Spotlight Friday I had the pleasure of interviewing Amber Frawley and Kristine Adams of Pineapple Punch Events.

Wedit: How did you get your start in the Event Planning Industry?
Amber: After college, I worked at a floral/rental company then had an internship with another planner and was instantly hooked!
Kristine: I started planning company events where I worked and moved into non-profit, sporting events and eventually weddings.

Wedit: What is your favorite part of the industry?
Amber: Teamwork! Vendors all need each other to help pull off their client’s dream events and to lean in to make some magic happen!
Kristine: The sense of community. Having the same goals. Work hard, give our best and make each event as special as our clients.

Wedit: What are your favorite wedding trends this year?
Amber: Edgy and contemporary place setting combinations! I also love statement walls, whether it’s a unique graphic, floral or balloons!
Kristine: Epic floral installations, dried floral bouquets, and decor.

Wedit: What is the biggest change you have seen since the start of your career?
Amber: I love that nowadays, there are no real “wedding rules” to follow, couples can literally tailor the event for them.
Kristine: The DIY aspect of events

Wedit: What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Amber: “Be intentional.” I try to carry this through all aspects of my personal life and career, everything has meaning.
Kristine: “Don’t stop learning or growing as a person.” This helps me stay up to date in my industry and with that, I’m able to assist my clients better.
