We love working with this amazing wedding planner. They have so many amazing things going on and we are excited to see where our partnership goes.
Wedit: How did you get your start in the Event Planning Industry?
Heather: I started my career in event marketing working with food brands and grocery stores. I helped thousands of brands launch their products with big in-store events and coordinated store opening events coast to coast. Though this unique experience, I learned to dial in logistics on a very large scale – managing hundreds of vendors for a single event. When I moved into “general” event planning, it seemed so simple to collaborate with such a small group and it was a lot more fun to focus more heavily on the look of the event. I love working with clients to make their dream event come together!
Wedit: What is your favorite part of the industry?
Heather: Helping couples tap into their version of a dream wedding and shocking them with the reality that this will not require spending a fortune.
Wedit: What are your favorite wedding trends this year?
Heather: I love the trend of pop up and surprise weddings. Finding fun ways to make a wedding particularly memorable for guests without breaking the bank makes me happy.
Wedit: What is the biggest change you have seen since the start of your career?
Heather: The rise of Pinterest and Instagram. These tools are a blessing and a curse. They can provide so many great ideas and inspiration, but also can trigger so much anxiety.
Wedit: What is the best piece of advice you have ever recieved?
Heather: Expanding on the “biggest change” question, I really encourage couples to avoid comparing their plans and dream day to others. Every wedding day is unique and special. Trying to compare one wedding to another just breed exceptionally toxic emotions.
