Something Blue | Wedding Tradition

There are many wedding traditions, but the “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue,” has become the most popular and recognized tradition across the U.S. Typically, a bride’s family member gifts an item representing each part of the tradition, but the bride can do it for herself, too.

Something blue represents fidelity, love and purity. There are many ways to incorporate blue in a wedding! Some examples include blue shoes, blue stitching in a wedding dress, blue ribbon wrapped around the bouquet of flowers, blue hair accessories, and more. It’s easy to be crafty with this tradition!
