Do Wedit cameras record sound?

Yes, our cameras come with onboard microphones to capture audio. If you view our sample highlight reels online, these are examples of an editing option that we set to a song of your choice. However, rest assured all clips captured do include sound

Do the cameras have zoom?

Yes, however we do not suggest that you use it, as it compromises the video quality. Our editors can easily zoom in on footage, when that is requested, without compromising the quality of the video.

Do I need to sign for my Wedit Package?

We know that you are busy in the days leading up to your wedding so we do not require signatures on our packages.

Do I have to buy an editing package?

Definitely not. With Wedit, you’ll have all rights to the footage you capture with our cameras. You’re welcome to edit the footage yourself or have a third party take care of it, if you so choose.

How will I receive the final edit of my video?

After our editing team finishes editing your project, the finished videos will be uploaded to your Wedit account. From there, once you approve the edit, we will send you your video files on a USB drive for you to keep.

How do I get my video edited by the Wedit Editing Team?

There are two steps to getting your project edited. The first is to submit your payment for the editing package you prefer. You can find all the details regarding our different editing packages on our editing page. The second is to fill out your editing preference form. You can fill out your preference form by logging into your Wedit account and click on the “View Editing Tab” on the left-hand side.

Do I get to make any changes to the initial edited video?

Included in each editing package is one round of small re-edits. Our editing team works very hard to make sure your video is exactly what you want by using your editing preference form, but if there is anything thing they may have missed or if you have any small changes, our editor is happy to make one set of re edits free of cost.

When can I expect my edited Wedit wedding video?

Typically, our editing team is able to get you your edited video within 4-6 weeks. That length is subject to change, however, during peak wedding season.

Can I send in any other videos/photos of my event not taken on a Wedit camera?

You absolutely can! All you need to do is get in touch with our editing team (editing@wedit.com), and they will work with you to include whatever else you might have.

How long will my videos be available on the Wedit website?

We’ll host your videos for one year after your wedding, where they’ll be accessible for easy downloading and saving to your computer. After that year is up your footage automatically gets removed from the website, so please be sure you download it and save it to the cloud before your one year is up.

How much footage will each camera hold?

Each camera holds at least 4 hours of HD video and still photos.

Is Wedit available for events besides weddings?

Absolutely! Our model will work for any sort of memories that you’d want to capture on video. Don’t hesitate to reach out to our customer service team if you have any questions or want suggestions.

My event is not in the U.S.; is Wedit still available to me?

We can only ship to U.S. addresses at this time, but we may have an alternative that works for you. If you have family or friends traveling from the U.S. to your wedding who can transport the cameras, we would be happy to ship your package to them. Are you from Canada? We have options for you too! Contact us for more info.

What are the specs of the cameras Wedit uses?

We currently send iPod Touches, which we love for their extremely user-friendly interface, as well as their ability to take HD photos and videos in 1080p.

What happens if I lose or break a camera?

We cover general wear and tear but, by signing our terms and conditions, you agree to pay for a replacement if the cameras are lost or damaged. However, please be extra careful with the cameras, as if they are broken, we usually cannot recover any footage. If a replacement fee is to be assessed, it will depend on the market value of the device.

What is the battery life of a Wedit camera?

The camera’s batteries will last about as long as it takes you to fill the memory. However, if you’re worried about battery life, each package comes with a cord which allows the cameras to be charged with any USB device.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel up to 60 days before your event for a partial refund. All packages have a $50.00 non-refundable fee. After 60 days, we cannot issue a refund.
