Everyone says your wedding day will be a blur, and it certainly was, but there are two moments that really stand out. The first came at the start of the reception, right after we made our grand entrance. We were standing in the center of the dance floor and all of our guests were standing around us when our DJ said “Marchal and Brandi, this has probably been a whirlwind of a day, but I want you to take a minute and look around you – look at the day you’ve created and the loved ones who are here to celebrate with you.” And we did… we just stopped and took it all in and things actually slowed down for a minute, sort of like a movie. Everyone was quiet and smiling and it just felt like there was nothing but love all around us. We’re so thankful to have had that moment, and watching our Wedit footage always brings that feeling back!
Our other favorite memory was when a friend asked us if we realized that everyone was standing for our entire ceremony. We had a close friend get ordained and perform the ceremony for us, and while the three of us had talked about the ceremony flow, none of us gave any thought to the “please be seated” part! The ceremony was only a few minutes long, so it was really no big deal. What was so memorable about this conversation was that we looked at each other and both said “Nope, I had no idea!” One hundred people were standing instead of sitting and we had absolutely no clue – for those five minutes, we only saw each other, cheesy as that sounds. We cracked up when we saw the Wedit footage and sure enough, everyone was standing!

There’s a lot of sticker-shock in wedding planning, but videographer pricing definitely took the cake. A professional videographer would have been almost a quarter of our wedding budget, and so many people had told us that they’d only watched their wedding video once or twice that it just didn’t seem worth it. Still photos were really our priority (you can’t hang a video on your wall!), so we started researching alternatives and came across Wedit. It seemed like a great deal so we decided to give it a shot, knowing that we wouldn’t be out too much if the footage didn’t come out well. Luckily, our guests were very dedicated to the task! They captured all the best moments, and the editors at Wedit did an amazing job of stitching it all together into a fantastic video. It was one of the best decisions we made in wedding planning!

Thank you to Brandi & Marchal, we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness.
