December’s featured couple- Ashley & Bill

I met Bill met when I was in high school, but we were not high school sweethearts! However, I did always have a crush on Bill, but the timing just never seemed right. Eventually we went on our separate ways when Bill left for Western Illinois University and I finished my senior year of high school. Bill and I reconnected one summer when I came home from college, and Bill was working his first “real” job. I ran up to Bill, excited to see him again, and a few days later Bill asked me out on a date. I, thinking this was just old friends getting together again, was surprised and intrigued by our newfound connection. Bill made me laugh like no one else ever had and was such a gentleman. We dated through the summer and decided to stay together while I finished my senior year at The University of Illinois. Fast forward a few years…we bought a house together in our hometown. One day while I was working, Bill had set the stage for his proposal at our townhouse. I returned home to a house filled with rose petals and Bill down on one knee. Elated, I said yes! We wed on July 27, 2013 in Geneva, IL, and the wedding was even better than anything we could have dreamt about. People always told us it would be a day we would never forget, but you never really know how true that is until you experience it yourself. We still currently live in our townhouse and are excited to eventually start a family.

We chose Wedit for our wedding because we really wanted a video of our wedding day, but we did not have the budget to spend $2000 on a videographer. I started researching different options online until I found Wedit. I absolutely LOVED the home video feel of the video cameras—it made it very personal and intimate. I was nervous that we would not get enough footage, but our guests videotaped EVERYTHING! We had nothing to worry about. I could not be happier with our wedding video, and I think I have watched it over 20 times since I received it. Thanks, Wedit!
