Hello!
With Thanksgiving tomorrow, I thought it was the perfect time to share this super easy recipe with all of you. These mini apple pies look difficult, but lucky for any of you non-bakers they’re easy as, well easy as pie!
All you need to get started is:
– 3 cups of diced apples (any kind you like)
– 3 tbsp granulated sugar
– 3/8 tsp ground cinnamon
– 6 pie shells
– muffin pan
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix diced apples, cinnamon, and sugar in a bowl.
Cut pie crusts into 12 circles that are slightly larger than the size of the muffin pan. Line each muffin tin with crust pressing lightly against the edges.
Fill each of them with apples.
Cover each of these with crust. You can either cut the extra crust into circles and cover the entire pie, cut a cute heart or other design, or you can cut strips and weave them through each other.
Bake on the middle rack for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. That’s it, they’re now ready to enjoy!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Xoxo,
Sarah
